Career Goals
My career goal is to work as a faculty member at a research-intensive university. I am passionate about teaching as well as educational research, I would like to devote to an academic’s life with both aspects.

I want to find jobs in China. Here are several published positions I am interested in:

Faculty of Education, East China Normal University, Shanghai, China.
Position: Assistant Professor
Description: Tenure-track junior level position in the field of Educational Technology.
Requirements:
1. Having a doctorate degree in the respective major in a high-level foreign or domestic university.
2. Having exhibited significant academic potential and competence for the teaching and scientific research tasks in the field of LDT.
3. Not elder than 33 years old in principle.
Selection criteria:
East China Normal University (ECNU) is a comprehensive research university in China. The Department of Education is a research-based department that trains graduate students and commits to educational research. Meanwhile, since ECNU is located in Shanghai, an international center of research and development in China, it gains many resources for educational research and innovation. This position could provide me the opportunity for both teaching and research.

3. Having (a) publishment(s) in high ranked SSCI/SCI indexing journals.
4. Not elder than 35 years old in principle.
Selection criteria:
I studied at Central China Normal University (CCNU) for my Master's degree. CCNU is a comprehensive university under the administration of the Chinese Ministry of Education, it is a highly recognized teacher training center for excellent teachers in higher learning institutions and high schools. The School of Educational Information Technology (SEIT) is a passionate and warmly academic community in the LDT field. I respect many of the faculty there and would like to work with them.

Position: Young Talent Scholar
Description: a position for recognizing and recruiting tenure-track faculty.
Requirements:
Candidates, preferably under 38, are expected to have gained his/her doctorate degree from or have done postdoctoral research in such universities or institutions as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, domestic universities ranked no lower than SCNU in comprehensive competitiveness or in relevant fields or the top 300 universities in the world (internationally recognized four global university rankings: ARWU, QS, THE, US News, the same hereinafter). Domestic candidates are expected to have done postdoctoral work and have presided over provincial and ministerial research projects or research projects of equivalent value.
Selection criteria:
This published position is not direct faculty recruitment but a plan to recognize and cultivate potential faculty. This position is a good opportunity to gain teaching and research experience.
